I'm the founder of Confident Bookkeeping, LLC. I started my career at 16 years old as a CNA — not because it was easy, but because I wanted to make a difference. Over the next 26 years, I worked my way up to office manager at a pain clinic, where I restructured processes, reduced overhead, and fought every single day to create a better environment for patients and the people serving them. I showed up. I gave it everything. And I did it all as a single mom, with no safety net and everything on the line.
But when leadership began choosing profits over patients and treating the people who built their business as disposable, I refused to accept it as normal. I walked away, went back to school for a Bachelor's in Accounting and Finance, and found my true calling in the numbers. What I learned in those classrooms gave language to everything I had lived — that cutting corners has consequences, that compliance protects people, and that the businesses trusting you with their finances deserve radical honesty, clear communication, and someone who will never waver on doing things right.
